Kicking of with Ron Trent's classic master piece 'The Foot Therapy EP' this mix has me digging through our back catalogue of vinyl, dusting off some extreme rarities from the world of classic underground house music. The mix features some true classics from pioneering underground artists Ron Trent, Chez Damier, Ralph Falcon, Victor Simonelli, Kerri Chandler and Marc Kinchen (MK). As all you heads out there will know these are the people that truly nurtured and defined this budding scene through the early 90's, providing the benchmark for future deep and soulful house.
As mere fledgling underground music enthusiasts, I would spend my Saturday afternoons elbowing our way through the crowds in Blackmarket Records Soho trying to fight off the older boys to get our hands on copies 
of what are now deemed pinnacle underground tracks. Acquiring the much acclaimed and savagely rare MK Burning dub mixes on Area 10 Records red vinyl was one of the most memorable record shopping experiences to date. As I sit here I reminisce how it went down a storm when I played it that very night at a local party of pissed up rookie house music fans. ;-)
