// Ibiza 2011 Highlights - Zoo Project @ Gala Night //

Ok. .  we are back. .  phew, that was a close one. 5 days of professional 4/4 beat consumption takes its toll one's body.

After a relatively tame 5:30am turn in Friday night/Saturday morning post Come together - Space, we turn our attention to more pressing matters. . . preparation for Zoo project Sat pm.

Gala Night offers a 'mock' zoo setting just outside San Antonio for its sole party team this year, Zoo Project. Zoo Project plays host to a medley of cutting edge underground DJ's and producers throwing down staple deep and tech house at the quality we have rightly come to expect from the Channel Zoo gang. Split into 2 main areas this is a really nice alternative open air club environment including seal pit complete with cascading concrete steps offering up a beautiful view of the Benimussa Hills around as the sun sets giving an almost arena like atmosphere.

The other main area is effectively a huge canopied out door dance floor which slopes down towards the DJ stage. The crowd just seems to grow and grow with a wide ranging clientèle from the younger  rather more excitable scamps fresh out of San Antonio to the dedicated music heads and connoisseurs intent on consuming beats 24/7 as day turns to night.

A third smaller segment of Gala night, though still cutting edge, is slightly more subdued. Offering a welcome respite from choka areas.

Summary: There is only one problem with Zoo project and that is that it doesn't go on long enough! A must do event for suitable for a wide range of clubbers. . . Get yourself out there!
