// Inland Knights Album Promo - Inland Bites:Knights Classics - Drop Music //
Inland Knights present a look back at their illustrious production career on ‘Inland Bites: Knights Classics’, released through Drop Music in December. The album represents the Nottingham duo’s output away from their own Drop imprint with 14 tracks previously released on some of the world’s leading underground house imprints such as 2020 Vision, Amenti, Siesta, So Sound, Panhandle and Doubledown. Several of the tracks have never been made available digitally and are freshly re-mastered for a new generation…and a nostalgic older one! A brand new exclusive and previously unreleased Inland Knights track ‘Don’t Need No One’ is also included. 12 years on since their first release and the duo of Laurence Ritchie and Andy Riley are undoubtedly amongst the most well known names in deep house, always staying true to the Midlands sound they pioneered back in the days of real free Soundsystem parties held in muddy fields down country lanes. Their typically bumping, deep and funky take on house music became known around the world and the Knights’ profile as international artists exploded.
Today they’re still as busy as ever, working on a steady stream of original material and remixes, slotted in around a hectic worldwide DJ schedule. The Inland Knights name is one of the biggest draws in deep house, whether on a CD cover, digital EP or club flyer. Having recently returned from a tour of the USA and Mexico they kick off another tour in support of the album starting at Fabric on 6th November.
Drop Music also continues at pace, having celebrated it’s 11th Birthday in 2009 with a triple CD compilation ‘Dust Till Dawn’ featuring all new tracks from Drop artists alongside re-mastered label classics. November will see release number 70 from the label, a three track EP from Inland Knights titled ‘Back To My Boots’.
