inland-knights-control-trendy-mulleNow entering its third year, Trendy Mullet Recordings was launched as an avenue for The Quirk Burglars to release their own productions without having to conform to a certain sound. This artistic freedom has enabled the label to grow into a critically acclaimed and well-respected outlet for quality house music.

They start 2011 by welcoming the Inland Knights to their label.

TM021 // INLAND KNIGHTS - CONTROL (LEIF REMIX) by Trendy Mullet Recordings

Lawrence and Andy aka the Inland Knights have been at the forefront of the underground house scene for over ten years. From the early free party days of the smokescreen sound system, through to their critically acclaimed Drop Music label and even finding time to remix Faithless.

Leif returns to Trendy Mullet for his second remix on the label. 2010 was a big year for the Trimsound recordings head honcho, with a number of critically acclaimed EP's on Boe and Fear of Flying recordings featuring the vocal talents of Donna Lea. He looks to continue this momentum into 2011 with an EP due on 2020 Recordings sub label.

Kamo are Manchester based Aussie (don't mention the cricket!) brothers with a penchant for wobbly basslines, twisted jazz, broken beats and wonky house. Their debut release Roadblocks received heavy support from Luke Solomon. The chaps are currently working on new material and a live show.
