james-curd-input-output-lost-my-dogThe amazingly talented James Curd joins the Lost My Dog family with an original james-curd-greenskeepers-musicEP, following two earlier remixes for the label.  Perhaps best known as the founding member of Greenskeepers, both the band and record label, James Curd has also enjoyed phenomenal success as a solo artist.  Lost My Dog join an esteemed list of record labels Curd has graced, including DFA, Drop, Om and Defected.  Four original tracks, including two collaborations with Ziggy Franklin and Devin Byrnes, and an additional two instrumental mixes, make up ‘Input? Output? I Don’t Know Yet’, which draws it’s title from a line in lead track ‘Left The Ground’.James Curd began his DJing career in Chicago when he was only fifteen years old and, at nineteen, released his first track on the globally respected Parisian label Basenotic. This release spawned‘Greenskeepers’, a name with which Curd could represent himself, the wide range of music he wrote and the artists he collaborated with. As Greenskeepers, Curd released an array of music on Classic Records and made his mark on the dance music world by infusing swing music and Chicago house to invent the term G-Swing, being short for Greenskeepers Swing. G-Swing became a flagship label in house music alongside his other labels Igloo and Greenskeepers Music. Curd has released four full-length albums as Greenskeepers, most recently ‘Live Like You Want To Live’ and has achieved individual success with releases on DFA, Smash Hit, Drop, Child's Play, OM, Ministry Of Sound, Aroma and Defected.

Four of his songs have been featured on TV show ‘Grey's Anatomy’, while others have appeared on ‘C.S.I Miami’, ‘Point Pleasant’, ‘MTV Real World’, ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and computer game ‘Grant Theft Auto 4’. His music can also be found in foreign films as well as mainstream movies such as ‘What Happens In Vegas’ and the hugely successful animation ‘The Incredibles’. If you listen carefully, you will even find Curd's work on BBC documentaries and American Airlines inflight radio!

Curd has toured the world over DJjing and playing live with Greenskeepers, renowned for his energy behind the decks and his ability to make a party. His sets have continued to earn the respect of veteran club goers but his capabilities have enabled him to lure the new kids to the dance floor when he plays. Curd has performed at some of the world's most respected clubs - from Fabric in London,The Avalon in Los Angeles, Home in Sydney to The Arches in Glasgow. Curd has also been part of festivals such as Park Life in Australia, Lollapalooza In Chicago, T In The Park in Scotland andElectric Picnic in Ireland.
