Lost My Dog’s first EP of 2012 see’s Canadian stalwart Jon Delerious, best known for his music on Nordic Trax, debut on the label. Three original cuts are backed by remixes of the title track from two of the current hottest names in deep house – Huxley and Giom. Calgary's Jon Delerious has been a staple of the ‘west coast’ house scene since his first 'big' gig in 1992. Since then his production talents have seen him grow into an internationally respected DJ/producer with his music being supported by a diverse array of artists from Gilles Peterson through to Laurent Garnier. He's played around the globe with some of house music's finest including 'Little' Louie Vega, Carl Cox, Mark Farina and Ben Watt. A regular on Nordic Trax he's also been featured on City Life, Doppelgaenger, Filter Music and more over the years. Huxley’s meteoric rise in recent months has made him one of the hottest names in deep house, with a string of releases on labels such as Morris Audio, Leftroom and Tsuba. Having appeared on Lost My Dog’s last release with a remix of ‘Looking Back’ by Mike Richardson, Howard Sessions and KT Forrester, the man from Tring is back straight away with a rework of ‘Believe In You’. Now firmly one of LMD’s mainstays, Giom kicks of another busy year with his first remix. 2011 saw the London-based Frenchman release his first mix CD ‘Clips & Space’ alongside a string of original tracks and remixes for the label, as well as headlining LMD events at Fabric and Sonar.
This EP kicks off an exciting 2012 for Lost My Dog which will feature new music from Ian Pooley, Moodymanc, Pete Dafeet, Demarkus Lewis, Dale Howard and YSE feat. Frank H. Carter III.
