// Scandalism presents GRECO ROMAN VS MODA @ CAMP - Shoreditch //

Scandalism presents two of the liveliest, most creative and innovative promoter label collectives as they team up for one night only. Hosted at CAMP on Thursday 4th November, Greco Roman and Moda launch Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ new EP, 'The Household Goods EP'. If you haven’t heard of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, you have issues. First off, it’s a one-man band. Let’s get that straight. Second, he’s the most exciting live act in electronic music in the UK right now – and that’s a scientific fact. Thirdly, he wears awesome outfits and has two very cool dinosaurs dancers at his live shows. And finally his music absolutely rocks – a thumping, punchy, melodic blend of cute electro, rave, garage, house and ‘90s classic, now with some lovely wistful vocals to boot.

From humble beginnings in to a dimly lit bar to the now colossal 1600 person warehouse parties- Moda has become one of the UK’s most formidable clubbing destinations.  Previous guests range from DJ’s such as Annie Mac, Fake Blood & Simian Mobile Disco to bands like Little Boots, Calvin Harris & Klaxons. As well as hosting amazing events, Moda’s Jaymo & Andy George continue to push boundaries with their Radio 1 show, Ibiza residency and Moda record label.

The Greco-Roman Soundsystem and partnered label were started by Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard in 2007, alongside friends Alex ’Full Nelson’ Waldron and Dom Mentsh. The Soundsystem itself is made up of not just these 3 friends but also Jeremy Dade aka ‘The Boston Crab’ and Ross Allen & Raff Daddy Greco-Roman label reflects their only music policy, ‘everything except deep house and minimal’, with releases from David E. Sugar, Buraka Som Sistema, Drums of Death, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Cassette Boy and Grovesnor. Joe Goddard also released his debut album Harvest, and later EP Apple Bobbing, on the label in 2009.
