// Scandalism presents Greco Roman vs Moda >> T.E.E.D EP Launch @ C.A.M.P //
It's 2pm on Thursday 4th November and I'm itching to get out of the office and get into town to meet Alex and Jody to head east to the City Arts and Music Project. Tonight a remarkable young individual interestingly named Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs is going to perform in the raw setting of C.A.M.P's basement for Scandalism. I meet the boys on Oxford Street. Alex is dressed as sharply as Jody's wit and I am greeted with a volley of John Wayne verbal swagger. After a couple of cheeky beers and a ropey bit of grub from a boozer in Soho we jump on the tube to Old Street. We arrive at C.A.M.P, make our way down to the basement and acquire another round of drinks. Alex 'Full Nelson' Waldron is dropping laid back deep grooves from the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble and we are all starting to feel a little loose. It's still a little early on in the evening and T.E.E.D (real name Orlando) is looking relaxed, milling around and chatting whilst waiting for his set time.
By the time he takes to the stage the dance floor is full of odd outfit combinations and peeps who look to cool for school. His sound is powerful, pulsating and packs more punch than Mike Tyson in his prime. He has the audience in the palm of his hand halfway through the set when he breaks into "Garden" where Luisa from Lulu and the Lampshades (who is an absolute darling) joins him on stage to the crowds delight. All in all the evening was thoroughly enjoyable and we'll be looking foward to Scandalism events in the future.
