// The Applecart Festival – 03-06-12 – Vic Park LDN//

MUSICThere really is something for everyone’s ears at this year’s Cart from the folk/rock melodies of NOAH AND THE WHALE and STORNOWAY to the maverick pop of ADAM ANT, KID CREOLE and SCRITTI POLITTI and the compelling genius of JOSH T PEARSON. Three acts tipped for greatness who have debut albums out this year include GAZ COOMBES, erstwhile lead singer with Supergrass; velvet voiced jazz soul chanteuse LIANNE LA HAVAS and BETH JEANS HOUGHTON who will have her Hooves Of Destiny in tow. A strong folk bill including BILLY BRAGG, MARCUS FOSTER and BILL WELLS with ex Arab Strapper AIDAN MOFFAT and the unique PENGUIN CAFE also feature on the burgeoning line up. //TICKETS//

ART CAR BOOT FAIR The Art Car Boot Fair returns to put the art into the Cart. Featuring a specially selected line-up of artists to bring festival goers all manner of ways to make their mark. The Art Car Boot Fair includes the 30 second master class and the fabulous art improvement clinic where anything you have on you can be transformed into art by our team for a fiver. Help us make the biggest splat painting and take a piece of abstract expressionism home with you, rolled up in your pocket! Plus there will be a Live Car Freezing – while you watch!

CABARET Expect the very best cabaret and alt-performance exclusively programmed by
 Rude Grrl, the people behind The LipSinkers, UnderConstruction and Bistrotheque's legendary cabaret room.
