// The Warehouse Project's new digs //
Boy are we excited... Manchester's WHP have today unveiled their brand spanking new venue for 2012. Hold on - When we say brand spanking new, we mean, an old, knackered, 2,000 capacity dingy Warehouse. #Perfect.
The new Site, on Trafford Park Road, right opposite Manchester United's ground is WHP's third home. Speculation has been rife as to where the new set up would be, all rumors have now been gunned down just 2 weeks before the doors open with 2 massive easter weekend parties.
The Warehouse project has been majorly influential in the renaissance of underground venues throughout London and the UK. With its huge fan base sad to see it previous home of 5 years Store Street close down at the end of 2011. WHP had always intended to keep itself moving and only planning permissions and licencing held it back form making an earlier move. WHP today unveiled that they have been working on the new site for 18 months. Renovating the space and working with sound technicians to make this the best WHP yet. The 2K capacity ex factory is located under 1km from the town centre and has the option of transforming itself from a 3 room venue into 1 massive space.
The new site has a hell of a lot to live up to, over previous years The Warehouse Project has won numerous international and prestigious awards as 'Best Club'. But with these tasty new snaps of the site and WHP's track record of keeping everything underground and lively, we have no doubt it will be another success.
The new site on Trafford Park Road, M17 1AB will officialy open Easter weekend. Friday 6th April see's Axwell & James Zabiela among others open proceedings. It's Sunday 8th April that has us weak at the knees with the best line up we have seen this far in 2012.
Loco Dice & the infectious Jamie Jones will be headlining, with a surplus of supporting talent that could easily be front running the night themselves. Deep house heads such as Maya Jane Coles, Carl Craig, Nina Kraviz and Benoit & Sergio will be playing along with Dj's known for there own sound - The mighty Claude Vonstroke, new pretender Julio Bashmore & Heidi bringing her Jackathon flavour. We could go on.....
Tickets are still AVAILABLE!!

We cant wait to get our Swag on and cut a few shapes to some choice house cuts @ Trafford Park Road and we don't think there's too much chance of us bumpin into Wayne, Coleen or any of the other WAGS either. WHP looks to have done us proud with this venue, and if you cant make it, we'll give you the lowdown while we take a well earned rest on Easter Monday!
