// Tom Lown - Cloud Surfer EP - Warmth Records //
Brooklyn's Warmth returns with the summer soul from South London's freshest house creator, Tom Lown. Hot off the back of his mega release on Lost My Dog Records that made the Juno Download Top 5 earlier this year, Lown brings us 'Cloud Surfer': a beautiful trip across the atmosphere over a seductively deep groove. 'Side Stepper' is a slightly more twisted, back room affair, while 'A Night At Peg' – which is included as a bonus track – pays tribute to the many musically-influential nights spent at formative London club night, Peg.

On remix duty are Williamsburg’s Woohoo, who delivers a Hip Hop-influenced take on the dreamy atmospheric tones of Cloud Surfer; and NYC’s longtime Lower East Side resident, Gaby Dershin, who tears up the rulebook with his driving and evolving remix of Side Stepper.
NYC label Warmth Records started back in 2003 with releases from Lovesky, STS and Flowchart. After a well-earned break, Warmth made a great comeback in 2008 and haven’t look back since, with new material from Sean Thomas, Dave Allison, Persons Of Interest and remixes from Tom Lown and Pink Skull. 2011 will see them release new material from Gaby Dershin, Pink Skull and Woohoo. The label’s remit is the same today as when they launched; namely deep and techy house with emotion, or put another way, house music that makes you feel warm.
This puppy will be released 15th August 2011.
